My Approach

I believe in meeting people where they are. Incorporating faith, emotional clarity, and real-life application. Whether through counseling, teaching, or training, my goal is to empower people to grow, heal, and thrive one play at a time.

How I Got Here

I grew up in East Cleveland, Ohio. My environment encompassed economic challenges, violent outbreaks, and other influences attempting to draw anyone into a lifestyle of debauchery. I called the environment "my home," but it was affectionately known as "my hood."

These great formative years, which were at times traumatic, developed a personal passion for encouraging others to make better decisions. The ultimate decision began with me and has led me to listen to the stories of others throughout my lifetime.

I value God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. I live with my wife of 29 years, and we have raised three children, along with two Yorkshires. My superpowers are two: empathy and listening.

I use these 4-words to empower others, "Who told you that?" Which starts the journey for transformation.
